This standard specifies the requirements for universal docking interface of peripheral docking mechanism for manned spacecraft, including requirements for mechanical interface, thermal interface and mechanism load and requirements for umbilical connector and connection performance.
This standard is applicable to interface design of docking mechanism for missions such as Low Earth Orbit (LEO) manned spacecraft, international docking operation, etc.; and can also serve as a reference for the docking interface design of other spacecrafts, such as spacecraft for manned lunar landing, etc. |
