This standard specifies the requirements,testing methods,inspection,marking and packaging,transportation and storage of rare earth-base AB5 hydrogen storage powder used in negative electrodes of nickel?metal hydride batteries (herein after referring as “RE-base AB5 hydrogen storage powder used in negative electrodes of nickel-metal hydride batteries” or “the product”).
This standard is applicable to RE-base AB5 hydrogen storage powders produced by vacuum induction melting process and used as the active material in the negative electrodes of nickel-metal hydride batteries. |
